At Carbon Clean Solutions, our proven and aligned leadership team provides broad experience, diverse insights and unique perspectives that drive value for our business and our stakeholders. Together, they hold decades of experience in renewable energy, finance, manufacturing, and operations, and truly have the passion needed to take energy — and our world — into the low carbon future.

Patrick Sweeney

Mr. Sweeney will serve as CEO of Carbon Clean Solutions. Primary responsibilities will include executive direction, and oversight in all areas of operations and business affairs of the company to ensure conformity to the vision of the future Board of Directors. He will oversee and deliver the company’s performance.

Renewable fuels project developer and senior business leader with 30+ years of experience and innovation in consulting, sales, marketing, finance, and operations across the technology, energy, and environmental sectors. Proven ability to structure, finance, and execute complex renewable diesel, bioenergy, and RNG projects, including site control, permitting, feedstock acquisition, technology selection, offtake contracting, and capital formation. Skilled in building long-term stakeholder and investor relationships and delivering bankable projects aligned with environmental, regulatory, and economic objectives.

Claude Luster III

Mr. Luster will serve as CTO of Carbon Clean Solutions. Primary responsibilities will include executive oversight of research, development, commercialization and deployment of renewable fuels technologies and products for commercially viable applications.

Relative to the biofuels industry, Mr. Luster was one of the first pioneers to explore the unique intricacies of biomass gasification and microbial conversion processes for biofuels production. His expertise has been sought and utilized by prominent corporations such as Dow Chemical, Procter & Gamble, ConAgra, Miller Brewing, and others, including entities in Europe, China, Africa, the Caribbean, and Canada. He has served as a member of a California venture capital group that included limited partners Bank of America, Wells Fargo & WAMU. His food and bioconversion sector achieved the highest returns of all investment sectors His vast experience, combined with a deep commitment to advancing the bioconversion sector, positions him as a leading figure in the development of sustainable energy solutions and green chemistry.
